Text entered into tools

Legacy-font conversion and transliteration requests are sent to a same-site conversion endpoint so the result can be generated reliably. LankaTextTools does not intentionally save pasted converter text to a database. Local-only utilities such as character counting and Unicode cleanup can run directly in the browser.

Like any website, the hosting platform may receive normal HTTP request information such as IP-derived network data, user agent and request timing. Avoid submitting passwords, private records or other sensitive information to any online converter.

Analytics and advertising

The launch repository does not require an analytics or advertising script to make the converters work. If analytics or advertising is added later, this policy should be updated before those services are enabled, including any required consent controls.

Contact messages

If you email LankaTextTools, the information you choose to send is handled as part of that correspondence. Do not send confidential source documents when a short non-sensitive conversion sample can demonstrate the problem.

Third-party links and open-source code

Some explanatory pages may link to standards bodies, universities or open-source repositories. Those external sites have their own privacy practices. Open-source conversion code included as a software dependency runs as part of the tool; its license attribution is documented in the project repository.

Changes to this policy

This policy should be reviewed when LankaTextTools adds analytics, advertising, accounts, file uploads or OCR because those features can change what data is handled.
